To obtain a quote, please use our contact form OR send us an email. In your email please provide your date of event, number of guests, serving size (coffee or dessert), flavour choice and theme/design request. If you have an image you would like me to take inspiration from please email that through as well. I will aim to get back to you within 48 hours.

Once we have discussed your details, we will send you an invoice and a deposit can then be made to secure your order. A deposit may  be required to secure a date and finalise your order later on – this is $50 for regular orders and $100 for wedding cakes.

Your order is not booked in until you receive quote and make a deposit to secure it.

To avoid missing out on a spot we recommend placing your order as early as possible to ensure availability, as weekly capacity is limited. Generally a minimum of two week’s notice is preferable.

Some weeks can book out in advance; however, please don’t hesitate to still contact us as I may still be able to accommodate your order.

As soon as you have a particular date set, you can secure a spot with a booking deposit.

Please refer to our pricing guide page for cake price estimates. The final price will depend on various factors, including the size of the cake, number of serves required, your choice of flavour+fillings and the final detail of the design. Each cake is quoted on an individual basis.

Dessert portions are approximately 2×1 inch slices.
Coffee/Wedding portions are approximately 1×1 inch slices.
Dessert portions are the larger of the two portions.

Yes! If you’re after a tiered cake/double barrel cake you certainly can have more than one flavour. Multiple flavours are great if you can’t decide on what to choose.

There is a however a minimum of 1 flavour per dozen cupcakes.

We offer tastings boxes approximately every two months for anyone to purchase. Please send through an enquiry via our contact form or email and I will send an email regarding the next available session.

Personal consultations are available for wedding couples and are located at my premises (SA 5072) where we will taste your cake options and chat about your wedding cake details.

The best and safest way to drive with a cake is if you place the box with the cake flat on the passenger floor of the car or with a second person to hold your cake. Please ensure that your car is cool during transport (especially during summer!).

Once a cake is picked up and leaves Brown Sugared Love’s premises, we are no longer liable and responsible for any damage to the cake or how you handle the cake.

Buttercream cakes must be refrigerated and are at their best if taken out 1-2 hours prior to cutting and consumption. Buttercream cakes are best eaten at room temperature. Once out, keep away from direct sunlight or any heat sources.

Pick up and delivery are both available.
Pick up is from Sunglo Court, Teringie 5072 SA.
Delivery charges are $25 flat for a 10km radius from us. Delivery outside the 10km radius is calculated based on your delivery location. Please let us know your delivery location when asking for a quote. Once a cake has left Brown Sugared Love’s premises, we are no longer liable or responsible for any damages that occur during transportation or set up if you choose to pick up your cake/cupcakes/goodies.

Once we have confirmed details of your order, an invoice will be sent to you with bank details for a bank transfer.

We make cake, cupcakes and cookies which can all be found on our flavour and pricing page.
We also make other sweet treats like tarts and dessert cups. If there is something you would like that is not on our list, send us an email and we might be able to help fulfill your sweet tooth cravings.

Cake toppers are available at an extra cost and can be customised to your event and cake colour theme.

A cake order can still be cancelled once it has been booked in. Deposits however are non-refundable but are transferable depending on special circumstances and dates available for your order to be moved to. If Brown Sugared Love is unable to accommodate to your new desired date then a refund will be issued with a minimal sum retained for any products or equipment already purchased to fulfill your order.
